Wu-Tang has officially given Logic that 90’s stamp of approval he’s been coveting all these years. I strongly advise you to listen to this joint if you can. I will say this, though: The bars that you get from literally every guy featured on this song gets an A+ from me, the overall feel of the track is on some classic 90’s s**t that I love, and Logic fits in rather nicely with all the other 98 people that have a rap verse. So here’s the deal: This song is eight minutes long and features all 87 members of the Wu-Tang Clan, so realistically, it will be impossible for me to cover all of it in this review. With Young Sinatra IV, he looks to continue his rise to the top, but he wants to do it by dabbling in a generation of rap that can surely get him even more clout if he succeeds in it. He has been just as consistent as any other MC in the game, doing a great job of dropping commercial hits, kill-a-rapper hits and everything in-between. Standout Tracks: No Biggie, Dead Presidents 3, Inception, Disgusting, The Spotlight, Dear God, Young Sinatra 3.Whether you like it or not, Logic is in the top tier category of rappers.
All these complaints aside this album is a must listen. On several tracks in the album he talks about how he hates the mainstream sound, and then makes mainstream sounding songs. As he does this he seems to contradict himself. The last flaw to this album is that it isn't cohesive. Luckily, there are 22 tracks for wiggle room. While not all of them are awful, the decent string of love songs gets repetitive, and even annoying. It's bragadocius, cheesy, cliche, poorly written, almost everything bad under the sun. Most, I didn't hate.Tic Tac Toe is ***ing terrible, there is no excuse for that song whatsoever. On the songs I did like I loved, and most of the ones I disliked I didn't hate. I'm blowing up, guess you could say I'm having a blast" and then the gunshot and the epic instrumental blasts, one of the best moments of the whole album. His lyrics are right in your face, whether they're gritty, disgusting, inspiring, or personal. Sampling is done so well in this album that it's a pro of the album. Instead of giving a history let's just say the song sparked a beef between rappers Nas and Jay-Z making it all the more memorable. The best example of this is "Dead Presidents 3" sampling legendary "The World Is Yours" by Nas.
He does this while still making the song his own, giving it a whole new twist. One of the main things that gives off the old school vibe of this mixtape is the sampling, and if you've ever listened to Logic you'll notice that he samples other artists music constantly. "Young Sinatra: Undeniable" is one of Logic's more gritty, old-school, down to hip-hop roots kind of mixtape.
